  While La-Z-Boy was founded on good quality furniture, the current furniture is lacking in lasting quality. I bought a recliner with fabric covering and wooden arms. Within a month of buying it, the seat foam started to settle, so that the shape does not come back when I get up. The entire chair shakes and squeaks. I can't even adjust my position without it sounding, and feeling, like it's gonna fall apart. Several years ago, I had purchased a couple of couches that were solid, and was expecting the same quality. Won't waste my money any more.
